Wilson started work at Johnston-Lee-Harnett Community Action, <br />Inc. on November 23, 1973, as the Supervisor for General Services, and retired with twenty-eight <br />years of service on June 30, 2001 as Planner/Projects Director; and, <br />WHEREAS, Peggy J. Wilson was instrumental in developing and forming the Area <br />Ministries in Johnston County; and, <br />WHEREAS, Peggy J. Wilson worked closely with many of the Johnston County <br />organizations such as Johnston County Human Services Council, Job Link Managing Partners, <br />and wrote many grants for the agency; and, <br />WHEREAS, Peggy J. Wilson was married to the late Jesse Wilson, is the mother of two <br />children, and the proud grandmother of six grandsons. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for Lee <br />County as follows: <br />Section 1. That it commends Peggy J. Wilson for her long and meritorious service to <br />Johnston-Lee-Harnett Community Action, Inc. and wishes her a long, pleasant, and enjoyable <br />retirement. <br />Section2:` .That this resolution be spread upon the minutes of the August 20, 2001 <br />meeting and a duly authenticated copy be presented to Peggy J.
