0 Boo;; 18 FACF 52'5 0 <br />b) Access to interior lots is provided by a perpetual, private access easement, <br />which has a minimum cleared width of 30 feet, and connects directly to an <br />existing publicly maintained road. <br />c) Each lot fronts or abuts the private access easement or an existing, publicly <br />maintained road. <br />d) No more than three (3) lots are created along the 30 feet easement. <br />No one spoke in favor of the proposed amended ordinance. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the proposed amended ordinance. <br />Mrs. Thompson outlined the second public hearing concerning a proposed <br />revision to the Lee County Zoning Ordinance that relates to Buffering and Screening <br />requirements. She told the board that the intent of this section was to require buffer and <br />screening standards that will protect the health, safety, and general welfare of the public, <br />and maintain and enhance the appearance of the community. The regulations are needed <br />to minimize potential nuisances such as the transmission of noise, dust, odor, litter, and <br />glare of lights; to reduce the visual impact of the unsightly aspects of adjacent <br />development; to provide for the separation of spaces and to establish a sense of privacy. <br />No one spoke in favor of the proposed amended ordinance. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the proposed amended ordinance. <br />Chairman Hincks closed the public hearings. <br />There being no further business to come before the board, Commissioner <br />Lemmond moved to adjourn the meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting <br />adjourned in keeping with the motion. <br />rbert A.
