0 0 <br />Boox 18 mE 55,1 <br />Commissioner Paschal moved that the Board of Commissioners proceed to hold a <br />public hearing on the sanitary sewer bond order. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Hincks and was unanimously adopted. <br />At 9:00 A.M., the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners announced that the <br />Board would hear anyone who wished to be heard on the questions of the validity of the <br />sanitary sewer bond order and the advisability of issuing the sanitary sewer bonds. At the <br />direction of the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, the Clerk of the Board of <br />Commissioners read the sanitary sewer bond order and the published notice of hearing. <br />After the Board had heard all persons who requested to be heard in connection <br />with the foregoing questions, Commissioner Adams moved that the public hearing be <br />closed. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Sauls and was unanimously <br />adopted. <br />Commissioner Lemmond moved that the Board of Commissioners of the County <br />of Lee adopt, without change or amendment, and direct the Clerk to the Board of <br />Commissioners to publish as prescribed by The Local Government Bond Act the bond <br />order entitled, "BOND ORDER AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $1,435,000 <br />SANITARY SEWER BONDS OF THE COUNTY OF LEE" introduced at the meeting <br />of the Board of Commissioners held on August 20, 2001. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Hincks and was adopted by the following vote: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Adams moved to go into closed session to discuss matters <br />pertaining to a contractual agreement. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Upon completing business in closed session, Commissioner Adams moved to go <br />out of the closed session. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />6 <br />
