Ms. Kincaid <br />told the board that the manual was produced by Triangle J in February 2001, and <br />provides guidelines, and a set of resources to assist in making public buildings more cost <br />effective, resource efficient, and healthy for occupants. No action was taken on the <br />matter. <br />Chairman Hincks moved to approve a resolution releasing Lee County's share of <br />economic development funds to Triangle J in the amount of $55,000. The money will be <br />used to carry out the economic development plan approved by the Triangle J Board of <br />Delegates, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part <br />hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The board heard reports from Central Carolina Community College President Dr. <br />Marvin Joyner and Lee County Schools Superintendent Robert Logan concerning their <br />boards' opposition of the use of the community college facilities for a public high school. <br />No action was taken on the matter. <br />The board considered a revised agreement for the use of state bond money for <br />public schools.
