Planner Althea Thompson outlined for the board the <br />proposed new section and answered questions. After much discussion, Commissioner <br />Matthews moved to approve the recommendation of the Planning Board to add Section 6 to <br />the Lee County Zoning Ordinance, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this <br />reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, and Reives <br />Nay: Hincks and Stevens <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a five to two vote. <br />The board considered an amendment to the Lee County Subdivision Ordinance to <br />amend Section 1. Article !I! General Provisions. Planner Althea Thompson discussed with <br />the board this amendment and answered questions. After much discussion, Commissioner <br />Reives moved to approve the recommendation of the Planning Board to approve the <br />amendment of Section 1. Article IV to the Lee County Subdivision Ordinance, a copy of <br />which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, and Reives <br />Nay: Hincks and Stevens <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a five to two vote. <br />The board considered a request from the Sheriffs Department to fill a vacancy in <br />the Investigative Division. Sheriff Billy Bryant asked that the board allow him to promote <br />Sgt. Kevin Bryant who has been with the department for approximately eighteen years. <br />Sheriff Bryant stated that he would like to begin this employee at Grade 67 Step 5. After <br />some discussion, Commissioner Reives moved to approve Sheriff Bryant's request as <br />stated above. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />2 <br />
