0 ~5"),% 1-9 P-n V <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Lemmond read and presented the resolution to Ms. Murrell. <br />The board considered recommendations from the Planning Board concerning <br />recent joint public hearings. Commissioner Adams moved that the matters concerning <br />amendments to the Lee County Zoning Ordinance and Lee County Subdivision <br />Ordinance concerning development of court ordered subdivisions be tabled until the next <br />meeting to give the board more time to research and study the matter. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Planner Althea Thompson told the board that the Planning Board recommended <br />approval of the petition by O. F. Patterson, Jr., to rezone from Residential Restricted <br />District to Residential Agricultural Conditional Use District, 11.16 acres of land located <br />behind 2007 Boone Trail Road for the location of a doublewide manufactured home. <br />After some discussion, Commissioner Reives moved to approve the recommendation of <br />the Planning Board with a condition that the manufactured home be removed from the <br />site within 12-months, and authority for planning staff to grant a 12-month extension for <br />removal of the temporary home. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: Matthews <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a six to one vote. <br />The board considered the purchase of nine (9) vehicles for the Sheriff's <br />Department. Captain Kevin Kirkman told the board that he had received quotes from the <br />following vendors: <br />Capital Ford, Raleigh, NC $20,843 <br />Sanford Ford, Sanford, NC $21,177 <br />Vic Bailey Ford, Spartanburg, SC $21,203.t1 <br />(State Contract) <br />After some discussion, Commissioner Paschal moved to approve the purchase of nine (9) <br />vehicles for the Sheriffs Department from Capital Ford in Raleigh, North Carolina, at a <br />cost of $20,843.
