109 <br />Reives Matthews <br />Stevens Hincks <br />Mr. Hoyle announced that Commissioner Hincks had received four votes and <br />Commissioner Matthews had received three votes, and therefore Commissioner Herbert <br />A. Hincks had been elected Chairman for the coming year by a four to three vote. <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle called for the election of a Vice-Chairman for a <br />one-year term. Chad <br />Adams had been elected Vice-Chairman for the coming year by a four to three vote. <br />The board considered a resolution fixing time, date, and place of regular <br />meetings. Commissioner Paschal moved to approve a resolution to hold a meeting on the <br />first and third Mondays of each month at 9:00 o'clock a.m. and 3:00 o'clock p.m. <br />respectively, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a <br />part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Paschal and Stevens <br />bray: Lemmond, Matthews and Reives <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a four to three vote. <br />The board considered bonds for certain Lee County employees. County Attorney <br />K. R. Hoyle told the board each year the Board of Commissioners are required by <br />General Statute to examine bonds for the following employees: <br />• Sheriff <br />• Register of Deeds <br />• Every other officer of the county who is required by law to give a <br />bond for the faithful performance of the duties of his/her office, <br />which in our case are: <br />2 <br />
