0 0 BON % -19 facF f 0J Resolution Adopting Schedule of Values WHEREAS, the Tax Administrator has prepared and submitted to the Board on October 24, 2002, uni form schedule of values, standards, and rules to be used in appraising real property at its true value and its present-use value as required by G.S. 105-317 (b) (1); and WHEREAS, said schedule of values, standards, and rules have been available for public inspection in the office of the Administrator since said date and due notice of said fact has been given as required by law; and WHEREAS, a public hearing on the proposed schedules, standards, and rules was held on Monday, November 4, 2002 after due notice by publication; and WHEREAS, the proposed schedules, standards, and rules as submitted by the Tax Administrator have been reviewed by this Board; and WHEREAS, the Board is ready to approve said schedules, standards, and rules; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners as follows: Section 1. That the schedule of values, standards, and rules as proposed by the Tax Administrator are hereby approved and adopted as the schedule of values, standards, and rules to be used in appraising real property at its true value and at its present-use value in the general reappraisal of real property in 2003 as required by the resolution of this Board adopted on November I8, 2002, pursuant to the authority contained in G.S. 105-286 (a) (2). Section 2. The Chairman or Vice-Chairman of this Board is directed and authorized to issue an order in the name of the Board ordering the use of the approved schedule of values, standards, and rules in the reappraisal of real property in Lee County in 2003. Section 3. The Clerk to the Board shall publish a notice of issuance of said order as required by G.S. 105-317 (c) (3). Section 4. This resolution is effective from and after its adoption.
