Aft <br />nun;" I9 PACE <br />Commissioner Reives discussed a fiscal matter pertaining to the merged City and <br />County Planning Departments. Chairman Hincks informed the board that he and County <br />Manager William Cowan would be meeting the following day with City Manager Leonard <br />Barefoot and Mayor Winston Hester to discuss various matters and this would be discussed <br />at that time. No action was taken on the matter. <br />The board considered appointments to the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to approve the following individuals that had been <br />recommended by Youth Services Director Randell Woodruff: <br />April Buie, mandated position from Parks & Recreation <br />Wendy Hager, mandated position as study from Lee Senior High School <br />Carolyn Henry, citizen representative <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Sauls <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />There being no further business to come before the board, Commissioner Paschal <br />moved to adjourn the meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Sauls <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting <br />adjourned in keeping with the motion. <br />1 "4~~2 <br />Herbert A.
