~oox ~8 p~~E 85 13 ~ <br />The size of such banner shall not exceed twenty-four (24) square feet. <br />2. The banner may not be illuminated. <br />3. The banner may be displayed for a period of ten (10) days only. <br />4. Only one (1) banner per premise is allowed. <br />5. A business establishment may receive registration for temporary banners for four <br />(4) or less separate events during one calendar year period. An interval of thirty (30) days <br />shall separate each event." <br />Section 6. Amend the Zoning Ordinance of Lee County, North Carolina, Article X SIGNS by adding a <br />new Section 9. Enforcement as follows: <br />"Section 9. Enforcement <br />A. Amortization of Prohibited Signs and Devices <br />1. All prohibited signs that were existing on the effective date of this Ordinance shall be <br />removed entirely, (this means the entire. sign and any associated equipment) within six <br />(6) months of the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />2. Any sign that is not removed within six (6) months of the adoption of this <br />Ordinance shall be considered a zoning violation, and shall be subject to the <br />enforcement remedies and penalties as set forth in Article XIII, Section 8. Penalty, of <br />the Lee County Zoning Ordinance." <br />Section 7.
