AQ <br />DGn" 1V Y~CF x y <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Lemmond discussed with the board the forming of a board or <br />committee to study designated partials of land in the county so people moving into these <br />areas would know that they are located in a fanning or livestock area. After some <br />discussion, Commissioner Lemmond stated that he would arrange for a presentation to be <br />made to the board by a representative from Chatham County in the near future. No action <br />was taken on the matter. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to go into closed session to instruct the County <br />Manager and staff concerning the position to be taken by or on behalf of the County in <br />negotiating for the acquisition of real property owned by the Lemmond family on Poplar <br />Springs Church Road. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Sauls <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />After completing business in closed session, Commissioner Matthews moved to go <br />out of closed session. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and SauIS <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />There being no further business to come before the board, Commissioner Lemmond <br />moved to adjourn the meeting.
