P~ <br />4r kre Taunfj ;oaarb of Tammissianers <br />Prorlamation <br />WHEREAS, the Central Carolina Jaycees have been a vital part of the <br />development of young leaders in our community since 2000; and <br />WHEREAS, the Central Carolina Jaycees have contributed to the betterment of <br />this community through their involvement in such programs as the Fourth of July <br />Fireworks Celebration, the Boy's & Girl's Club of Lee County, Firewood for the Needy, <br />the Duke Cancer Fish Fry, and the Business Entrepreneurs Roundtable; and <br />WHEREAS, the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce and its affiliated <br />state and local organizations have set aside the third week in January to observe the <br />founding of the organization in 1920. <br />THEREFORE, WE The Lee County Board Of Commissioners proclaim the <br />week of January 18-24, 2002 as JAYCEE WEEK and urge. all citizens of our community <br />to give full regard to the past and continuing service of the Central Carolina Jaycees. <br />Dated this the 22nd day of January, in the Year of Our Lord, 2002. <br />Herbert A.
