Chad <br />Adams had been elected Vice-Chairman for the coming year by a four to three vote. <br />The Board considered a resolution fixing time, date, and place of regular <br />meetings. Commissioner Matthews moved to approve a resolution to hold meetings on <br />the first and third Monday of each month at 9:00 o'clock a.m. and 3:00 o'clock p.m. <br />respectively, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a <br />part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />Attorney Hoyle ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered bonds for certain Lee County employees. County Attorney <br />K. R. Hoyle told the Board each year the Board of Commissioners are required by <br />General Statute to examine bonds for the following employees: <br />• Sheriff <br />• Register of Deeds <br />Every other of icer of the county who is required by law to <br />Live a bond for the faithful performance of the duties of <br />his/her office, which in our case are the following: <br />1. Tax Administrator <br />2. Finance Officer <br />3. Any employee who handles S 100.00 or more at any one <br />time <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to approve bonds as recommended by the County <br />Attorney. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, tMatthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered additional agenda items. Commissioner Lemmond asked <br />that the following items be added to the agenda: (1) nomination of a voting delegate for <br />the Washington, D.C., NACo conference scheduled for February 27-March 2, 2004, and <br />
