E}a~ A g 'Acs 675 Lennnond Lemmond Matthews Lemmond Paschal Adams Reives Matthews Stevens Adams Mr. Hoyle announced that Commissioner Adams had received four votes and Commissioner Lemmond had received three votes, and therefore Commissioner W. Chad Adams had been elected Vice-Chairman for the coming year by a four to three vote. The Board considered a resolution fixing time, date, and place of regular meetings. Commissioner Matthews moved to approve a resolution to hold meetings on the first and third Monday of each month at 9:00 o'clock a.m. and 3:00 o'clock p.m. respectively, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens Nay: None Attorney Hoyle ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered bonds for certain Lee County employees. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle told the Board each year the Board of Commissioners are required by General Statute to examine bonds for the following employees: • Sheriff • Register of Deeds Every other of icer of the county who is required by law to Live a bond for the faithful performance of the duties of his/her office, which in our case are the following: 1. Tax Administrator 2. Finance Officer 3. Any employee who handles S 100.00 or more at any one time Commissioner Matthews moved to approve bonds as recommended by the County Attorney. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, tMatthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered additional agenda items. Commissioner Lemmond asked that the following items be added to the agenda: (1) nomination of a voting delegate for the Washington, D.C., NACo conference scheduled for February 27-March 2, 2004, and
