p 0 LU-N 19 F, c,9 <br />MINUTES OF THE RECESSED MEETING <br />OF THE <br />BOARD OF COA,IMISSIONERS <br />FOR THE <br />COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />OCTOBER 10, 2003 <br />####*#*:I::kffi~*#k~k#*##:k*:k**#******+m*:k#*W*:k**#:k:k##X**##*:k:k#=k******#**#:k***# <br />The recessed meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State <br />of North Carolina, convened at 5:30 A.M. in the Small Conference Room, Room # 124, <br />Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said <br />date. Commissioners present Nvere W. Chad Adams, Herbert A. Hincks, Jerry M. <br />Lemmond, Bertha L. Matthews, Robert T. Reives, and Amy L. Stevens. Commissioner <br />Nathan E. Paschal was sick and unable to attend the meeting. County Manager William <br />Cowan, County Attorney K. R. Hoyle, and Clerk to the Board Gaynell Lee were also <br />present. <br />Chairman Hincks called the meeting to order and moved that the Board go into <br />closed session to conduct interviews for positions that report to the Board. Upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Ave: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Paschal <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board at this time conducted interviews for the Assistant to the County <br />Manager/Clerk to the Board and Tax Administrative positions. <br />After completing interview, Chairman Hincks moved to go out of closed session. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Flincks, Lemmond, iNlatthews, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Paschal <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted Unanimously. <br />With no further business to come before the Board. Commissioner Adams moved <br />to adjourn the meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />
