LGOx '49 PNUE 492 <br />position in his department. Conlin issioiler Stevens moved approval of Mr. Hanes's <br />request to fill these vacant positions. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman riled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Hanes outlined the second request for the acceptance of $3,000 in <br />state/federal money for bio-terrorism training. Commissioner Stevens moved acceptance <br />of the requested money for bio-terrorism training. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Hanes asked that the Board approve a recently hired Nutritionist in his <br />department to receive 11.33 hours per month of vacation time because of her previous <br />eight (8) years of service with Moore County. Commissioner Stevens moved to approve <br />the above request as presented. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Hanes outlined the fourth and final request that involved a fee schedule for <br />the Primary Care Clinic. Mr. Hanes told the Board that the Board of Health had <br />approved general guidelines for a fee policy for the Primary Care Clinic that would <br />accept Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance and private pay clients. He stated that <br />proof of income would be required so they could assess the patient's income to determine <br />if they pay 100% (full pay), 75% or 50%, with no charge less than $25.00. All lab fees <br />will be charged a flat rate. Also, if a client does not bring proof of income they will be <br />assessed at 100% until they bring in proof according to the Health Department's <br />guidelines. He also stated that if a client chooses to pay their full balance with cash, <br />check or credit card at the time of service, they will be given a 10% discount on their <br />entire bill for that visit. Commissioner Stevens moved to approve the fee schedule <br />adopted by the Board of Health, a copy of -which is attached to these minutes and by this <br />reference made a part hereof.
