Blox 4 9 mp 45=i <br />POLICY USE FOR THE GORDON NICKER <br />CONFERENCE ROOM <br />The Gordon Wicker Conference Room shall be made available for use on an equitable <br />basis for meetings and activities of various county agencies and other public <br />organizations conducting activities related to county business. <br />Who Mav Use the Room: <br />The Gordon Wicker Conference Room may be reserved for use by the following: <br />1. County Department 1-lead or their designee <br />2. A recognized agency or organization whose purpose is related to or of specific <br />interest to the county staff <br />The individual using the Gordon Wicker Conference Room shall be held responsible for <br />the following regulations: <br />Hours: <br />The horns the room may be used are Monday through Friday, 3:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. <br />Reservations: <br />Requests to use the room must be submitted to the County Clerk for scheduling. Keys <br />issued by the Clerk must be returned as soon as possible or no later than the next <br />morning. Keys will only be issued to county employees who are working with or are <br />coordinating the activity. Official meetings of the county or the Board of Commissioners <br />have first priority and take precedence over all other activities. Any conflict shall be <br />resolved in their favor. <br />Responsibilities of the User: <br />The user is responsible for setting up the room for the use for which it is intended and to <br />see that the room is clean and restored to its original configuration upon completion of <br />the activity. If food is served, the user must make sure that the tabletops and kitchen area <br />are left clean and free of any residue. The refrigerator must be emptied of any food left <br />over from the activity. Activities that create large amounts of waste are responsible for <br />bagging the trash and leaving it for the housekeeping staff to pick up the following day. <br />The user assumes responsibility for making sure all equipment is accounted for and left in <br />the same condition and location as prior to use. If necessary, the floors should be <br />vacuumed. <br />Prohibitions: <br />Activities that involve more than normal wear and tear on the facility, generate exive~ <br />noise, are of a political nature, are personal or unrelated to county,bu'!
