Sloan Pool (copy attached) <br />• Revised Lease Agreement between the County of Lee and City of Sanford <br />for the kfakepeace Building (copy attached) <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The board considered an agreement between the County of Lee and Waste <br />Management of Carolinas, Inc. for disposal services. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle told <br />the board that action on the agreement was deferred at the last meeting until a <br />"termination" clause could be added in case at some time a Sanitary Landfill should be <br />located within the boundaries of Lee County. Mr. Hoyle discussed the termination clause <br />with the board and answered questions. Commissioner Paschal moved to approve the <br />First Amendment to Disposal Services Agreement Between Lee County and Waste <br />Management of Carolinas, Inc., a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this <br />reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, I-lincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The board considered a request from County Attorney K. R. Hoyle to petition for <br />annexation and rezoning of the new high school property on Tramway Road once title for <br />the property is acquired. Mr. Hoyle stated that allowing him to petition for Office and <br />Institutional annexation and rezoning would speed up the process. Commissioner Reives <br />moved to approve Mr. Hoyle's request to petition for annexation and rezoning of the <br />Tramway Road school site once title is acquired. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Lemmond discussed with the board property located on Popular <br />Springs Church Road that had been served with a zoning code violation. He told the <br />board that Dr. and Mrs. Donald Austin had three old, singlewide mobile homes on the lot <br />that was used for storage purposes and they had been notified by the Planning <br />Department that they were in violation and would have to pay $100 per day until the <br />mobile homes were removed. Planner Althea Thompson and Code Enforcement Officer <br />Reggie Buie were called to the meeting to explain the situation. Mr. Buie stated that the <br />
