0 0 <br />B 0;i 1 9 P GL <br />The Chairnian ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The board considered a resolution authorizing the advertisement of an offer to <br />purchase the old DMV building on Old Carbonton Road. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle <br />told the board that an offer of 540,000 had been received from Community Real Estate <br />Holding Company to purchase the old DNIV building. Mr. Hoyle asked that the board <br />declare the property surplus and begin the upset bid process. After some discussion, <br />Commissioner Reives moved to advertise for auctioneering services and begin the <br />auctioneer process to dispose of the old DMV building on Old Carbonton Road. Upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The board considered a resolution authorizing the offer to purchase the parking lot <br />and deck on S. Steele Street. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle told the board that an offer of <br />S2,500 had been received from Mr. Allen Dossenbach to purchase the parking deck and <br />lot located at 210 S. Steele Street. Mr. Hoyle asked that the board declare the property <br />surplus and begin the upset bid process. After some discussion, Commissioner Lemmond <br />moved to advertise for auctioneering services and begin the auctioneer process to dispose <br />of the parking deck and lot located at 210 S. Steele Street. Upon a vote, the results were <br />as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Flineks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairman Hincks moved to obtain an independent appraisal of the parking lot and <br />adjacent parking deck located at 210 S. Steele Street. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lernmoud, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The board considered an appointment to the Social Services Board. <br />Commissioner Matthews appointed Joyce Barbour to 611 the un-expired term of Nilda <br />Rivera on the Social Services Board. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />3 <br />
