113 <br />BOOK 17 PdGE <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a water policy revision for late payments. Public Works <br />Director Kenny Cole told the Board the City of Sanford had recently revised their water <br />policy concerning late payments. Mr. Cole recommended to the Board the Water District <br />revise their policy to reflect this same change. Commissioner Mansfield moved to <br />approve the following revision: <br />Bills are due on the 15" of each month by 5:00 p.m. Late notices <br />will be mailed to all accounts that remain unpaid as of 5:00 p.m. <br />on the 15"'. Bills that are not paid in full by 5:00 p.m. on the 20°i <br />of the same month shall become subject to disconnection of <br />service and will be accessed a late fee of $20.00. This fee will <br />be accessed whether or not the service is physically disconnected. <br />If the customer request a reconnection of service after 5:00 p.m., <br />an additional fee of $25.00 will be charged to the account. This <br />account must then be paid in full by 10:00 a.m. the next business <br />day or service will again be disconnected. If the 201" falls on a <br />week-end, an extra day will be allowed on the late charge. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />There being no further business to come before the Water and Sewer District No. <br />1, Commissioner Mansfield moved to adjourn the Water and Sewer District meeting. <br />Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Mansfield, Matthews, Moretz, Paschal and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting <br />Bertha L.
