0 41'4 <br />Pooh 16 c~s_ 518 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED CONTRACTS <br />WITH CITY OF SANFORD <br />WHEREAS, there have been submitted to this meeting forms of proposed <br />contracts between the City of Sanford and the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. <br />1 (the "District") as follows: <br />1. Water Purchase Contract; <br />2. System Review and Purchase Agreement; <br />3. Maintenance Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board deems it in the best interest of the District to authorize the <br />execution of the proposed contract; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Lee, sitting <br />as the governing body of the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1, as follows: <br />Section l: The Water Purchase Agreement, in the form submitted to <br />this meeting, is hereby approved and the Chairman or Vice-Chairman is hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute and deliver, and the Clerk to the Board is hereby authorized and <br />directed to attest and acknowledge, for and in behalf of the District the Water Purchase <br />Agreement with the City of Sanford substantially in such form and with such necessary <br />and appropriate variations, omissions, and insertions as may be approved by the Chairman <br />or Vice-Chairman. <br />Section 2: The System Review and Purchase Agreement, in the form <br />submitted to this meeting, is hereby approved and the Chairman or Vice-Chairman is <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver, and the Clerk to the Board is <br />hereby authorized and directed to attest and acknowledge, for and in behalf of the District <br />the System Review and Purchase Agreement with the City of Sanford substantially in such <br />form and with such necessary and appropriate variations, omissions, and insertions as may <br />be approved by the Chairman or Vice-Chairman. <br />Section 3: The Maintenance Agreement, in the form submitted to this <br />meeting, is hereby approved and the Chairman or Vice-Chairman is hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute and deliver, and the clerk to the Board is hereby authorized and <br />directed to attest and acknowledge, for and in behalf of the District the Maintenance <br />Agreement with the City of Sanford substantially in such form and with such necessary <br />and appropriate variations, omissions, and insertions as may be approved by the Chairman <br />or Vice-Chairman. <br />Section 4: That copies of the proposed agreements presented to this <br />meeting be attached to the minutes of this meeting and such documents are incorporated <br />in this resolution by this reference thereto. <br />2 <br />
