H. <br />_ Information <br />Meeting Date: July 19, 2010 Action Item <br />XX Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: Change and Addition to the Lee County Personnel Policy <br />DEPARTMENT: Human Resources <br />CONTACT PERSON: Joyce McGehee, SPHR, Human Resources Director <br />REQUEST: Approve the addition of J-34 Transitional Duty Policy to the <br />Personnel Policy and change made to F-7 Workers Compensation Leave Policy <br />• SUMMARY: Lee County is committed to conducting all operations as safely and <br />efficiently as possible. A policy is being added to the Personnel Policy that outlines the <br />requirements, responsibilities and guidelines of getting an employee back to work after an injury <br />or illness. The Workers Compensation Leave Policy is being changed to allow employees to use <br />vacation or sick time in the first seven calendar days after a lost time accident.
