0 0 <br />KOK ti0 P'GE 154 <br />Board from the statutory limit of twenty-five (25) to a maximum of thirty (30). In the event <br />Sandhills Center is successful in increasing the number of Board members to at least twenty-six <br />(26), Harnett County will be permitted one (1) additional Board member, and there shall be a <br />total of twenty-six (26) Board members, including County Commissioners. If applicable, the <br />remaining four (4) Board positions will be subject to County Commissioners' approval and <br />appointment. <br />4. Transfer of Personal Property Assets. A true and accurate list of personal <br />property assets owned by Lee-I-larnett Authority is attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated <br />herein by reference. All personal property assets currently owned by Lee-Harnett Authority, and <br />set forth in Exhibit A shall be transferred to Sandhills Center effective July 1, 2005. If any of the <br />personal property identified in Exhibit A requires a title or other document establishing <br />ownership, said title or other document shall be transferred to Sandhills Center on or before July <br />1, 2005. The consideration for the transfer shall be One Dollar ($1.00) and other valuable <br />consideration, including Sandhills Center's agreement to provide services in Lee and Harnett <br />Counties. <br />5. Disposition of Leased Property. Real property leased or used by Lee-Harnett <br />Authority will be disposed of as follows: <br />a. Buies Creek Mental Health Center - this real property is currently <br />owned by Harnett County, and contains a facility and two houses used by <br />Lee-l-larnett Authority at no cost to Lee-Harnett Authority. This facility <br />and two houses will be leased to Sandhills Center for the sum of One <br />Dollar ($1.00) per year commencing on July 1, 2005. Upon the expiration <br />of the lease, the lease shall, upon the agreement of the parties, continue <br />from year to year. If at any time during the life of the lease the facility or <br />the house located on this property is no longer needed for mental health <br />services or any other legitimate business purpose relating to the operation <br />of Sandhills Center, the lease will terminate upon 60 days' notice by either <br />party, and use of the real property shall revert to Harnett County. The <br />lease agreement attached hereto as Exhibit B shall govern the rights and <br />obligations of the parties with respect to the Buies Creek Mental 1-lealth <br />Center and the houses located thereon. <br />h. Sanford Mental Health Center - this real property is currently owned by <br />Lee County, and contains a facility and a house used by Lee-Harnett <br />Authority at no cost to Lee-Harriett Authority. This facility and house will <br />be leased to Sandhills Center for the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) per year <br />commencing on July 1, 2005. Upon the expiration of the lease, the lease <br />shall, upon the agreement of the parties, continue from year to year.
