uuo't FOE 1~.9 <br />MINUTES OP THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR THE <br />COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OI' NORTH CAROLINA <br />DECEMBER 6. 2004 <br />A swearing in ceremony for newly and re-elected Commissioners for the County <br />of Lee. State of North Carolina, was held in Courtroom #2 at the Lee County Courthouse. <br />1408 S. Horner Blvd., Sanford, North Carolina. on said date at 9:00 a.m. Judge Jimmy <br />Love, Jr., District Court Judge, swore new Commissioner Robert H. Brown into office, <br />along with re-elected Commissioners Jerry M. Lemmond, and Nathan E. Paschal. A <br />reception honoring retiring Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews and retiring Register of <br />Deeds Nellie Thomas was held immediately following the ceremony in the first floor <br />lobby of the Courthouse. <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State <br />of North Carolina, convened at 11:00 a.m. in Courtroom #2 at the Lee County <br />Courthouse. Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioners present were W. Chad Adams, <br />Robert H. Brown. Herbert A. Hincks, Jerry M. Lemmond. Nathan E. Paschal. Robert T. <br />Reives, and Amy L. Stevens. <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle presided and the following business was transacted: <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle delivered the invocation. Commissioner Hincks led <br />the pledge of allegiance. <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle told the Board that the first order of business was <br />the election of a Chairman for a one-year term.
