Consensus of the Board was to accept Chairman Hincks <br />recommendation. <br />The Board considered a protective covenant on the Handsaker tract of land on <br />Tramway Road. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle told the Board that the N. C. Parks and <br />Recreation Trust Fund requires that property acquired with funds furnished by it be <br />restricted to public recreation use and may not be converted to other uses by transfer, <br />sale, or in any other manner. Mr. Hoyle's recommendation to the Board was to authorize <br />the officers of the Board to execute a declaration stating a protective covenant in such <br />manner and form as is acceptable to the N. C. Parks and Recreation Trust Fund restricting <br />the Handsaker property to public recreation use. After some discussion, Commissioner <br />Matthews moved to accept County Attorney Hoyle's recommendation as stated above. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />5 <br />
