Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Matthews had questions for Health Director Mike Hanes <br />concerning the proposed spay-neuter policy for Animal Control. Mr. Hanes told the <br />Board that various veterinarian offices in the County will offer discounts for spay-neuter <br />services if the animal is adopted from the Lee County Animal Control Shelter. <br />Commissioner Matthews asked Mr. Hanes to supply the Board with a monthly report of <br />the number of animals adopted. After some discussion, Commissioner Matthews moved <br />to approve the Lee County Animal Control and Sheller Adoption - Spay-Neuter Policy, a <br />copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Jimmy Fraley representing Citizens Against Drugs (CAD) discussed with the <br />Board the drug problem in Lee County. His original request to appear before the Board <br />was to submit petitions he had collected in support of hiring additional deputies, however <br />he did not release the petitions to the Board. <br />1) <br />
