19 F„(GF Q,r <br />Works Director Kenny Cole told the Board that Mr. Jackson should be receiving a <br />reduced rate that is allowed for high water users. Mr. Cole was asked to check with the <br />City of Sanford to make sure Mr. Jackson is receiving the reduced rate. No action was <br />taken on the matter. <br />Commissioner Matthews left the meeting at this time. <br />Commissioners discussed various budget matters and why they did not want to <br />implement a tax increase this year. <br />At 12:10 p.m., Chairman Hincks recessed the meeting until 1:00 p.m. <br />At 1:00 p.m., Chairman Hincks reconvened the meeting. All Commissioners <br />were present except for Commissioner Matthews. <br />The Board continued discussing various budget matters and the tax rate for the <br />upcoming year. Commissioner Matthews joined the meeting at 1:30 p.m. <br />Commissioner Paschal moved to leave the tax rate at 67 cents (67¢) and approve <br />the Budget Ordinance for FY 2004-05, a copy of which is attached to this minute and by <br />this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairman Hincks moved to recess the regular meeting and go into the Lee County <br />Water and Sewer District No. 1 meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />After completing business in the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1 <br />meeting, Commissioner Lemmond moved to go out of the Lee County Water and Sewer <br />District No. 1 meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal. Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />6 <br />
