:J0 <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to approve the following consent agenda items: <br />• Minutes from the June 7, 2004, regular meeting <br />• Matters pertaining to the Health Department <br />- Approval to fill vacant Physician Extender vacancy <br />- Fee schedule for Primary Care <br />• Permit for Fourth of July fireworks at Kendale Shopping Center (copy <br />attached) <br />• Approval to fill vacant positions in Social Services <br />- Social Worker III Child Protective Services position <br />- Child Support Processing Assistant III position <br />- Income Maintenance I Day Care position <br />• Matters pertaining to Youth and Family Services <br />- Program Agreement <br />- Annual Plan for FY 2004-05 <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the 2004-05 Secondary Road Construction Program for the <br />Department of Transportation. District Engineer Chuck Dumas introduced various DOT <br />staff members and told the Board that Lee County had been allocated $430,959 to <br />construct roads down the priority list as far as possible, provided rights of way are <br />available. After some discussion, Commissioner Matthews moved to approve a <br />resolution approving the 2004-05 Secondary Road Construction Program, a copy of <br />which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered an offer from McQueen Chapel United Methodist Church <br />to purchase property adjacent to the church. At the last meeting on June 7, 2004, the <br />church offered $5,000.00 to purchase a 1.04-acre tract of land adjacent to the church and <br />the matter was tabled until the June 2l 't meeting. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle told the <br />Board that the church has now offered the county $1,734.30 for the 1.04-acre tract. <br />Chairman Hineks moved to bring the tabled motion for the purchase of property back to <br />the Board for consideration. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />
