;cox 19 Fast 89 <br />Session. The Board asked Mr. Cowan to get justification from each department that had <br />a proposed reduction as to how the reduction would affect their department. No action <br />was taken on any budget matters. <br />Commissioner Paschal re-joined the meeting during the above discussion. <br />Chairman Hincks moved to recess the regular meeting to go into the Lee County <br />Water and Sewer District No. 1 meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Upon completing business in the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1 <br />meeting, Chairman Hincks moved to go out of the Lee County Water and Sewer District <br />No. I meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was <br />once again in regular session. <br />Chairman Hincks moved to go into closed session to consider the conditions of <br />initial employment of a new County Manager. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was <br />in closed session. After completing business in closed session, Commissioner Adams <br />moved to go out of closed session. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />With no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Reives moved <br />to adjourn the meeting and asked that the meeting be dedicated in memory of President <br />Ronald Reagan, the 40`x' President of the United States, who passed away on June 5, <br />2004. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />6 <br />
