G~OC 19 PAnp 899 <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a four to three vote. <br />At this time, the Board took a 10-minute recess. <br />Upon returning from recess, with all members present, the meeting resumed. <br />Commissioner Stevens updated the Board on resumes that have been received for <br />the County Manager's position. She told the Board that she would schedule someone to <br />attend and facilitate the next meeting to assist the Board in deciding what qualities they will <br />be looking for when they hire a new Manager. <br />County Manager William Cowan asked direction from the Board on various <br />projects in the Capital Improvements Plan (CIP) for FY 2004/2005 - 2008/2009. No action <br />was taken on the matter. <br />Board members were asked to get with the County Manager if they had items they <br />wished discussed at the Board's Planning Retreat that is scheduled for April 16, 2004, at <br />the McSwain Extension Education & Agricultural Center. <br />With no further business to come before the Board. Chairman Hincks moved to <br />adjourn the regular meeting.
