0 FiCO(,\, 19 NACF 9 <br />Chairman Hincks recessed the regular meeting to go into the Lee County Water & <br />Sewer District No. 1 meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman Wiled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />After completing business in the Lee County Water & Sewer District No. 1 <br />meeting, Chairman Hincks moved to go out of the Lee County Water & Sewer District <br />No. 1 meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the regular <br />meeting resumed. <br />Commissioner Lemmond moved to go into closed session to instruct the County <br />Manager and staff concerning the position to be taken by or on behalf of the county in <br />negotiating for the acquisition of real property located at 2137 Tramway Road. Upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was <br />in closed session. After completing business in closed session, Commissioner Adams <br />moved to go out of closed session. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Adams, Hincks, Lemmond, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, and Stevens <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chainnan Hincks recessed the meeting until 7:00 p.m. <br />At 7:00 p.m., Chairman Hincks called the meeting to order at the old Lee County <br />Courthouse to hold joint public hearings with the Planning Board that had been <br />advertised for this date and time. All Commissioners were present. <br />Chairman Hincks opened the first public hearing that involved a rate increase for <br />Charter Communications. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle told the Board that on July 31, <br />2003, Charter Communications submitted a FCC 1240-Basic Cable Service Tier and FCC <br />1205-Equipment and Installation charges to seek an adjustment in the rate charged for <br />basic cable service, installation and equipment rental for the 2004 calendar year.
