AMR, <br />BOO" 19 P%E 79 <br />Contractor may request the United States to enter into litigation to protect the interests of <br />the United States. <br />19. NONDISCRIMINATION CLAUSE <br />The Contractor covenants that no person shall be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits <br />of, or be subject to discrimination under this federal program on the grounds of race, creed, religion, <br />sex, color, national origin, familial status, Vietnam Era Veteran status, age or handicap status. <br />20. LOBBYING CLAUSES <br />1. No Federal appropriated funds have been paid or will be paid, by or on behalf of the <br />undersigned, to any person for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee <br />of any agency, a Member of Congress, an officer or employee of Congress, or an employee <br />of a Member of Congress in connection with the awarding of any Federal contract, the <br />making of any Federal grant, the making of any Federal loan, the entering into of any <br />cooperative agreement, and the extension, continuation, renewal, amendment, or <br />modification of any Federal contract, grant, loan, or cooperative agreement. <br />2. If any funds other than Federal appropriated funds have been paid or will be paid any person <br />for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee of any agency, a Member of <br />Congress, an officer or employee of Congress, or an employee of a Member of Congress in <br />connection with this Federal contract, grant, loan, or cooperative agreement, the <br />undersigned shall complete and submit Standard Form-LLL, "Disclosure Form to Report <br />Lobbying," in accordance with its instructions. <br />21. CONTRACTORS WILL COMPLY WITH: <br />Davis Bacon Act <br />Under this Act contractors shall be required to pay wages to laborers and mechanics at a <br />rate not less than the minimum wages specified in a wage determination made by the <br />Secretary of Labor. In addition, contractors shall be required to pay wages not less often <br />than once a week. <br />Copeland "Anti-Kick Back" Act <br />This Act provides that each contractor shall be prohibited from inducing, by any means, any <br />person employed in the construction, completion, or repair of public work, to give up any <br />part of the compensation to which he is otherwise entitled. <br />Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act <br />as supplemented by the Department of Labor regulations <br />22. <br />WORK CONTRACT <br />
