f9 787 <br />LEE COUNTY <br />REHABILITATION WORK CONTRACT <br />NAME OF CONTRACTOR Wallace Creech <br />ADDRESS 321 Zack's Mill Road, Benson, NC 27504 <br />DATE February 15, 2004 <br />THIS AGREEMENT entered into between Wallace Creech hereinafter <br />referred to as "Contractor"; and Lee County, referred to as "Agent" for Owner. <br />WITNESSETH <br />WHEREAS, Neadella Wilson , Owner, holds title to the real property and <br />improvements located thereon which real property is described as follows: <br />2816 Brookhaven Drive, Sanford, NC 27330 ; <br />AND <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Owner desires to have improvements located on said property repaired or rehabilitated; <br />WHEREAS, Owner has authorized Lee County to act as his/her agent to have said property <br />rehabilitated; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor desires to perform such repair work and rehabilitation of said improvements; <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and under the conditions hereinafter <br />set forth, Contractor does hereby agree as follows: <br />1. Contractor agrees: <br />(a) To furnish labor and materials to complete in accordance with the specifications attached <br />hereto in the work write-up for the renovation and/or repair to premises located at the <br />location listed above, as set out on work write-up for the sum of <br />Thirty-One Thousand, Two Hundred Six and 00/100 dollars 31,206.00), with <br />full payment to be made after completion of the work. <br />Completion of all work to include the following: <br />(1) Approved final inspection of work by certified building inspector. <br />(2) Proper recording of documents in the public records of the County as is necessary. <br />(3) Execution of Waiver of Lien. <br />(4) Such other documents as the Lee County Community Development Office, its <br />attorney shall deem necessary to protect the County and to insure no liens or <br />prospective liens are encumbering the real property hereinabove described. <br />(b) Warrants materials to be of the quality required by the specifications described in the work <br />write-up. <br />WORK CONTRACT <br />
