coo, 9 PAu 7. <br />(9 L 6 <br />COUNTY OF LEE <br />RESOLUTION FOR FY 2002 CDBG <br />SCATTERED SITE PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the County of Lee has been awarded a Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) Scattered Site Housing (SSH) grant CDBG # 02-C-0958 in the <br />amount of $400,000 by the North Carolina Department of Commerce, Division of <br />Community Assistance (DCA). This grant is part of the FY 2002 Scattered Site Housing <br />Program (SSH) and; <br />WHEREAS, the funds are used to address the most critical housing needs of low <br />and moderate income families within Lee County. Activities paid with SSH funds must <br />benefit persons with incomes at or below 50% of the median income, and serve the <br />special needs categories as defined in the Housing Distribution Plan in the County of <br />Lee's grant application and; <br />WHEREAS, the project will be administered by the Sanford/Lee County <br />Community Development and CMR Services, Inc. on the County's behalf. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEE COUNTY BOARD <br />OF COMMISSIONERS that County Manager William K. Cowan or Community <br />Development Director Robert L. Bridwell is authorized to sign documents pertaining to <br />the Community Development Block Grant Scattered Site Housing Grant # 02-C-0958. <br />Adopted this the 2°`' day of February 2004. <br />Herbert A.
