00030 <br />LEE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />REGULARD MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />106 HILLCREST DRIVE <br />SANFORD, NORTH CAROLINA 27330 <br />MARCH 6, 2017 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North <br />Carolina, convened at 6:00 P.M. in the Commissioners Room, First Floor, Lee County Government <br />Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present when <br />the meeting was called to order were Amy M. Dalrymple, Kevin C. Dodson, Larry "Doc" Oldham, <br />Robert T. Reives, and Cameron W. Sharpe. <br />Chair Dalrymple called the meeting to order and the following business was transacted: <br />Commissioner Oldham delivered the invocation. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br />The Board considered changes/additions to the Agenda. County Manager John Crumpton <br />requested the addition of two items to the Agenda under Old Business regarding the OT Sloan <br />Pool PaintingProject and the Carbonton Road Manned Convenience Center Paving Project. The <br />OT Sloan Pool Project was added as Item B and the Carbonton Road Manned Convenience <br />Center was added as Item C under Old Business. Commissioner Reives requested the addition of <br />a letter from Neil Yarborough. The letter was added as Item D under Old Business. Commissioner <br />Reives also requested that Item B under New Business be moved to the Consent Agenda as Item <br />I. With no other changes made, Commissioner Oldham moved to approve the Agenda as <br />amended. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Dodson, Oldham, Reives, Sharpe <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Knecht, Sloan <br />The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Sharpe moved to approve the Consent Agenda as amended, which <br />consisted of the following items: <br />■ Minutes from the January 17, 2017 Regular Meeting <br />■ Minutes from the January 9, 2017 Interlocal Meeting <br />■ Appointment to the Rest Home -Nursing Home Advisory Board. <br />Page 118 <br />
