Senior Center to receive funding: The Enrichment Center <br />2. Amount of funding (state/local/total): $17,453 <br />3. Area served by Senior Center: Lee County <br />4. Describe how the funding will be spent at each location specified above: <br />Program supplies, advertising and printing of materials for the annual <br />Boomer, Senior & Caregiver Expo. Speakers, instructors and supplies for <br />special classes. Entertainment for dinners and special performances. <br />Supplement annual senior trip to the State Fair. Blood pressure machine <br />lease. Public access internet and wireless connection for participants' <br />use, annual tax assistance program and classes. Supplement the <br />Veterans Services office with program materials and equipment. <br />Supplement the cost of training required by Senior Center Certification. <br />Training for fitness instructors. Telephone, computer and other <br />technology equipment maintenance and/or replacement. Fiber update in <br />conjunction with the Information Technology Department. Promotional <br />hand outs and gifts for speakers, volunteers and prizes at health fairs. <br />Subscriptions to periodicals for program ideas and information. <br />Equipment and supplies for nutrition and fitness programs, the Senior <br />Center and its grounds. <br />Triangle J Area Agency On Aging <br />
