A. <br />Information <br />X Action Item <br />Consent Agenda <br />021 <br />SUBJECT: Revised Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Lee County <br />Schools and the Lee County Health Department. <br />DEPARTMENT SECTION: Health Department <br />CONTACT PERSON: Heath Cain <br />REQUEST: This is a request for the Board of Commissioners to review/approve <br />the revised Memorandum of Agreement between Lee County <br />Schools and the Lee County Health Department. <br />SUMMARY: The revised Memorandum of Agreement between the Lee County <br />Health Department and Lee County Schools has been revised with the <br />following: <br />-The first sentence designates Lee County Schools and the Lee <br />County Health Department as LCS and LCHD respectively; and <br />-Section N on page 3 has been added to the MOA and states: <br />Be available to assist the county health department during <br />a public health emergency; <br />-Section O on page 3 has been modified with the proper acronyms <br />BUDGET IMPACT: These funds were budgeted in the FY 16-17 budget process and <br />approved <br />ATTACHMENT(S): (1); Copy of the revised Memorandum of Agreement between Lee County <br />Health Department and Lee County Schools. <br />PUBLIC HEARING: None required. <br />PRIOR BOARD ACTION: N/A <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Health Department respectfully requests the Board of <br />Commissioners to approve the attached revised Memorandum of <br />Agreement between the Lee County Health Department and Lee <br />County Schools. <br />
