004 <br />Chair Dalrymple opened the public hearing that had been advertised for this date and time. <br />No one present spoke in favor or in opposition to the proposed project. <br />Chair Dalrymple closed the public hearing. <br />Mr. Joyce presented and discussed the fourth hearing for "Project Sandman." Mr. Joyce <br />stated "Project Sandman" consists of the construction of a facility and the purchase of equipment in <br />the amount of $56.5 million and the hiring of 46 new employees over the 5 -year life of the project. <br />The Board intends to consider investing up to $638,783 of the cost of the project with revenues <br />from the County's General Fund. The original public hearing for this project was held at the <br />December 19, 2016 Board of Commissioners Meeting. A new public hearing was required in order <br />to provide the amount Company's investment in the advertisement. <br />Chair Dalrymple opened the public hearing that had been advertised for this date and time. <br />No one present spoke in favor or in opposition to the proposed project. <br />Chair Dalrymple closed the public hearing. <br />Mr. Joyce presented and discussed the fifth hearing for "Project Circular." Mr. Joyce stated <br />"Project Circular" consists of operating a leased facility and the purchase of equipment in the <br />amount of $1.9 million and the hiring of 63 new employees over the 5 -year life of the project. The <br />Board intends to consider investing up to $27,944 of the cost of the project with revenues from the <br />County's General Fund. The original public hearing for this project was held at the December 19, <br />2016 Board of Commissioners Meeting. A new public hearing was required in order to provide the <br />amount Company's investment in the advertisement. <br />Chair Dalrymple opened the public hearing that had been advertised for this date and time. <br />No one present spoke in favor or in opposition to the proposed project. <br />Chair Dalrymple closed the public hearing. <br />Mr. Joyce presented and discussed the sixth hearing for "Project Hummingbird." Mr. Joyce <br />stated "Project Hummingbird" consists of operating a leased facility and purchasing equipment <br />in the amount of $71.75 million and the hiring of 104 new employees over the 5 -year life of the <br />project. The Board intends to consider investing up to $606,188 of the cost of the project with <br />revenues from the County's General Fund. <br />Chair Dalrymple opened the public hearing that had been advertised for this date and time. <br />No one present spoke in favor or in opposition to the proposed project. <br />Chair Dalrymple closed the public hearing. <br />Commissioner Sloan moved to waive the Board's policy on voting after a public hearing for <br />all projects presented.
