B. <br />_ Information <br />XX Action Item + Public Hearing <br />Consent Agenda <br />Approve Contract for Project Driveline <br />Administration <br />Whitney Parrish, County Attorney <br />To approve contract as presented <br />M <br />SUMMARY: At the November 14, 2016 regular meeting of the Lee County <br />Board of County Commissioners, there was a public hearing <br />on an economic development incentive grant presented by <br />SAGA for Project Driveline. This grant was advertised in the <br />paper and a public hearing was held. After the public hearing <br />was held and before the approval of the contract, the <br />incentives changed. Therefore, a new public hearing was <br />required and is being held on January 3, 2017. After the <br />public hearing, the contract will be presented for approval by <br />the Commissioners. <br />BUDGET IMPACT: <br />Up to $512,238. <br />ATTACHMENT(S): The proposed contract and attachments and the December <br />23, 2016 Notice for Public Hearing from the Sanford Herald <br />PUBLIC HEARING: Scheduled for January 3, 2016 <br />PRIOR BOARD ACTION: The Board held a public hearing on Project Driveline on <br />November 14, 2016 and voted to approve the incentive <br />agreement. After the public hearing, the incentive changed <br />and therefore a new public hearing was held and a new <br />contract is attached. <br />RECOMMENDATION: To approve attached contract for Project Driveline <br />
