The Board considered the first reading of an Amendment to the Library Ordinance. County Attorney Whitney Parrish stated that at the November 7 I meeting of the Board of mmissioners, a request was made by Commissioner Frazier, for this item to be placed on the A da for discussion. The Library Board of Directors wish to change Sec. 14-41 as it relates to the ntment of the chief librarian. The Library Board does not feel they have the time or experti in ling with Library personnel issues and wish this to fall under the direction of the County M ager. s noted since this will be an amendment to the Ordinance it will require two readings, wit 'this bein sidered as the first reading. A couple of minor changes were recommended to the Resolution will be changed for the final reading.
