P,FJ <br />NOTICE TO BIDDERS <br />LEE COUNTY <br />CARBONTON ROAD RECYCLING CENTER REHABILITATION <br />Pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes Section 143-129, sealed Bids will be received by Lee <br />County, North Carolina until Wednesday. September 7. 2016 at 3:001PM and then publicly opened and <br />read aloud for the construction of "Lee County Carbonton Road Recycling Center Rehabilitation" <br />Project. The bid opening will be held at Lee County Summit Building, 408 Summit Drive, Sanford NC. <br />Bids shall be for furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment as detailed on the contract documents <br />dated August 2016. The major project items include: <br />• Temporary erosion control <br />• Demolition <br />• Clearing <br />• Grading <br />• Storm Drainage <br />• Asphalt Paving <br />• Reinforced concrete pads and retaining wall <br />• Permanent seeding <br />Each Bidder shall be appropriately licensed in the State of North Carolina as provided in General <br />Statutes Chapter 87 and have the ability to produce evidence of experience in construction of projects <br />of similar size and nature. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and any part <br />of a Bid, and to waive formalities and technicalities in the Bids. Only bids submitted on the Bid Form <br />included in the Project Specifications obtained directly from the Engineer will be accepted.
