Cherry, Solid Waste Superintendent <br />Jeremy Thomas, P.E., J Thomas Engineering, Inc. <br />REQUEST: Accept Bid of NC Beal and Sons, Inc., as negotiated, to provide <br />services related to the rehabilitation of the Carbonton Road Convenience Center. <br />SUMMARY: Bids were received from five (5) qualified firms to provide services <br />related to the rehabilitation of the Carbonton Road Convenience Center. Services include, but are <br />not necessarily limited to demolition, clearing, site grading, storm drainage, asphalt paving, <br />construction of concrete pads and retaining wall, and permanent seeding.
