I have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. I have lived in Michigan, Indiana, Tennessee, and for the past 2 years in North Carolina. My husband and I have owned several businesses over the years to include a donut shop, a fast food restaurant, a greeting card store, and a decorative concrete business. I worked for 9 years in the Intellectual Property field (patents and trademarks) until my job was outsourced to India. I am currently enrolled in the paralegal program at Central Carolina Community College. Ken Harden Hi, my name is Ken Harden and I moved to Hidden Lake with my wife, Mona, from New Jersey one year ago. I have a grown daughter and son and we recently adopted a big white dog called Lobo. He is half Lab and half Great Pyrenees and some of you might recognize him leading me around Hidden Lake on long walks. For many years I commuted to work in NY as I am an insurance broker specializing in placing protection for Healthcare and Life Science Organizations. I still continue to work remotely out of my home. I have an MBA in finance and served 3 years on the Board of Directors for the YMCA in Basking Ridge, NJ. My activities on behalf of the YMCA led me to be awarded Volunteer of the Year. I am an avid golfer and tennis player. I look forward to being able to lend my enthusiasm and experience to helping the community prosper. Thank you for your consideration. Proposed Bylaws Change Article 3 Section 6 Meetings Regular and special meetings of the Board shall be open to attendance by all members of the POA. However, the Board may close a meeting, or any portion of a meeting, for the limited purpose of discussing, hearing frem or taking action on a matter uA4 ,-espee4 involving a member(s) where the Board desires to keep the identity of the member(s) confidential including, but not limited to who are delinquent cases of delinquency in payment of any assessment imposed pursuant to the CCRRs. Action taken at such a closed session shall be summarized in the minutes of the meeting while keeping confidential the identity of the members involved. Regular and special meetings of the Board shall be open to attendance by all members of the POA.
