G. <br />_ Information <br />Meeting Date: November 7, 2016 _ Action Item <br />XX Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: Designate County Attorney as Voting Member of the Hidden <br />Lakes Property Owners Annual Meeting <br />DEPARTMENT: Administration <br />CONTACT PERSON: Whitney Parrish, County Attorney <br />REQUEST: To designate county attorney as voting member and cast the <br />ballot for the annual meeting of the Hidden Lake Property <br />Owner's Association. <br />SUMMARY: The County owns property located at 1413 Texas Square, <br />located in the Hidden Lakes Association of Carolina Trace, as <br />the result of a foreclosure. Notice has been given of the <br />annual meeting of the property owners association to be held <br />on November 17, 2016, at the Carolina Trace Country Club. <br />The meeting will consist of electing new members of the Board <br />of Directors, voting an assessment increase of $15.00 for <br />developed and undeveloped lots recommended by the Board <br />of Directors and a proposed bylaw change. As such, it is the <br />request that the Board designate the County Attorney to be a <br />voting member and return the ballot to the homeowner's <br />association. <br />BUDGET IMPACT: N/A <br />ATTACHMENT(S): The notice of the 2016 annual meeting of property owners and <br />accompanying ballot. <br />PUBLIC HEARING: No <br />PRIOR BOARD ACTION: N/A <br />RECOMMENDATION: Designate County Attorney as voting member of the Hidden <br />Lake Property Owner's Association <br />
