BK:00026 PG -.0999 <br />LEE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />RESOLUTION <br />BY THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AWARDING TWO (2) DAYS OF VACATION TO COUNTY <br />EMPLOYEES IN LIEU OF AN ANNUAL COLA <br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners desires to reward the <br />employees of the County for their hard work and dedication to the citizens of Lee <br />County; and <br />WHEREAS, during the fiscal year 2014-15 budget process the Lee County Board <br />of Commissioners and Budget Officer were unable to fund an annual COLA for <br />the employees; and <br />WHEREAS, in lieu of the annual COLA, the Commissioners will award two <br />additional days of vacation, without increasing costs to the taxpayers of Lee <br />County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Lee County Board of <br />Commissioners that each full-time benefited employee of the County be awarded <br />two (2) vacation days to be used on Monday, December 22 and Tuesday, <br />December 23, 2014, thereby closing all County Offices for the holiday week of <br />Christmas; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that any employee who serves in law <br />enforcement, emergency management or other department who must work on <br />December 22 and December 23, 2014, be allowed to take those two days of <br />vacation between November 15, 2014 and June 30, 2015 without penalty. <br />Adopted this 8t' day of September 2014. <br />harles T.
