Track System
1. Rails shall be designed and manufactured to carry a minimum load of 1,000 pounds per linear foot of carriages.
2. Rails shall exhibit no movenrom or deflection during operation ofmobile ranges.
3. Rails shall be level and not project above or below the walking surf ao-
4. Rails shall be designed to be attached on top of structural concrete floor and to allow for adjustment so rails call be
leveled over an uneven floor.
5. Levelness of rails: 3132" maximum variation from true level withiny module
an; 1/16 " maxmum variation
rail i
between adjacent rails perpendicular to rail direction: 1/32"maximum variation in 10' 0" of rail length, along ally
6. TRACK TYPES
(a) ATRACK: All systenLs shall operate with a minimum of 2 tracks. All tracks must be driven. The tracks shall
be placed no further than 72" center to center. The tracks shall not exceed I-12" in height. Tracks chap
consist ofa 1"x 1"rail bar stock vtth a Rockwell rating of B95 or higher and fabricated from C-1045 carbon
steel. The rail bar stock shall be plug Avelded onto an I 1 gauge structural "C ' channel 4 -9/16 -wide. The 1"
x 1" bar stock shall be connected at :d1 joints with a circular spring pin that will insure both vertical and
horizontal alignment of adjoining rails. Tongue and grtxrve type rail connections that insure horizontal
alignment only ur not acceptable. 5116" x 2" minimum track anchors are required every 26-3/4" on center
maximum (2 per location). Leveling shall be by leveling strews. Leveling screws rut be installed in
leveling insert, located cve y 13-3/8" on center. threaded
(b) STRACK: The modular deck shall be designed as a top mounlW yob t)atr yystcm which requires no
d s shall not exceed t -5/8" in height. Tracks shall consist ofa I " x
anchoring to the existing floor. The tracks 1 "
reil bar stock with a Rockwell rating of B95 or higher and fabricated from C-1045 carbon steel. The rail bar
stock shall be plug welded onto an 11 gauge structural "C' channel 4-9/16" wide. This channel will be
attached to an 1 I gauge p4•tte for optional out, anchoring and decking attachment. The 1- x 1 "bar stock
shall be connected i all joints with a circular spring pin that will insure both vertical and horizontal
alignment of adjoining rails. Tongue and groove type rail connections that insure horizontal alignment only
are not acceptable. Leveling shall be by leveling screws located every 13.3/8" on center.
B. DECK/RAMP
1. Deck and Ramp to be specified per end user:
2. Floor covering to be determined by end user.
C.
