01') 3) The County can put in place a community development grant program that would place criteria on applicants to show need based on demographical data of the need for the filters and install the filters. County Manager John Crumpton stated another non-profit (501(c)3 organization had contacted him that might be interested in disbursing the funds but that board doesn't meet again before our next Commissioners meeting on September 19th. After discussion, Commissioner Reives moved to adopt Option #2 and instructed staff to try and locate another non-profit organization 501(c)3 to administer the funds donated ($6,100) and proceed with placing water filters in the remaining 17 homes identified with water quality issues. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sloan, and Smith Nay: None The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. Commissioner Frazier moved to go into Closed Session to discuss matters relating to the location or expansion of a business in the area per North Carolina General Statute § 143-318.11(a) (4). Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sloan, and Smith Nay: None The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was in Closed Session. Upon returning from Closed Session, with all members present, Chair Dalrymple called the regular meeting back to order. With no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Reives moved to adjourn the meeting.
