A. <br />XX Information <br />Meeting Date: June 21, 2010 _ Action Item <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: Public Hearing to Consider Amendment to the Official Zoning Map <br />of Lee County <br />DEPARTMENT: Sanford-Lee County Planning and Development <br />CONTACT PERSON: Althea Thompson, Planner II <br />REQUEST: Hold Public Hearing as Advertised for Rezoning Request <br />• SUMMARY: An application has been received by E. Stephen Stroud, Triassic <br />LLC, Linda B. Wicker, Jimmie L. Thomas and Hobert and Sandra Wicker to rezone from <br />Residential Agricultural (RA) district 19 tracts of land on approximately 491.48 acres that is <br />located northeast of Colon Road, east and west of Jefferson Davis Highway (US #1), and being <br />east of Deep River Road and south of Zion Church Road. Included in the tracts are the <br />residences located at 4416, 4564 and 4616 Colon Road. The applicants are requesting to rezone <br />60.359 acres of the land to General Commercial (C-2) district and 431.124 acres of the land to <br />Light Industrial (LI) district.
