The Board of County Commissioners met in Special Session at the Courthous Annex at 5 o ' clock, P . M. on Friday, January 8, 1954, pursuant to legal notice duly- A: given. A. The following members were present : • Commissioners J. M. Cheshire, C . N. Castleberry, Clyde J. Atkins, C. M. Reeves , Jr. , and Sion H. Kelly. .•; Commissioner Cheshire , Chairman, presided over the meeting and the follow- v ing business was transacted. On motion of Commissioner Castleberry, seconded by Commissioner Atkins, a - road petition, submitted by Robert S.
