<br /> amended, that the.compensation of all Jurors in the Superior Court of said Lee
<br /> • . • County be-and the same is, hereby fixed at $7. 50 per day. ,

<br /> , 'Commissioners to call-a special election to ascertain the will of the voters' as
<br /> . • to.whether thereahall be levied and collected the special tax in.Lee County .
<br /> except those portions and areas of Lee•County now embraced-Sanford Graded
<br /> School District and the Jonesboro'Graded School District, to supplerirent the •
<br /> current-expense funds from State-and County allotments and thereby,operate, '
<br /> schools of a higher standard by supplementing any-item of expenditure in the
<br /> school'budget. . ' •
<br /> Upon the advise of the County.Attorney, no•formal action was-taken'on the
<br /> . request of the 'Board of Education because rio formal petition adopted'by said. •
<br /> Lee,County Board of Education was' presented. ' The members of the Board of
<br /> Education advised the Board of County- Commissioners that a 'formal petition
<br /> ' would be adopted and would".be presented to said Board of:County Commissioners .

<br /> ' Commissioner Kelly, a road petition submitted by J. , P. Seymour. was ' -
<br /> • . - 'unanimously adopted. - This petition requests that a road in West Sanford
<br /> Township running from the W. B. Wicker.School to;Rock Street by the.Ball; ;

<br /> the question of advancements funds of the Library Board for completion of
