• <br /> Johnsonville road, the same being known as the Old Fayetteville Highway, <br /> part of the same being in Lee County and a part of the same being in Harnett <br /> County and in a different highway district; and whereas, said Board has on <br /> more than two occasions requested the State HighwayD and Public Works <br /> Commission to SI+I��� as Q s�O Q �QA ' sd; and whereas, <br /> no action has been taken by said State and Highway Public Works Commission <br /> to improve and pave said road, and it is now the sense of this Board that the <br /> improvement and the, paving of the same is urgently needed; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the State Highway and Public Works <br /> Commission be requested and urged to take immediate action to cause the <br /> Highway CommissioMin said Highway District to immediately grade and pave <br /> said Old Fayetteville Highway between its junction with the Swann Station- <br /> Lemon Springs Road and the Johnsonville Road. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the above resolution was seconded by <br /> Commissioner Kelly and the same was unanimously adopted bby the Board. <br /> Mrs. Clifford B. Tracy, Supt! of Public Welfare reported the official <br /> activities of the Welfare Department for the month of March,. 1957. <br /> H. A. Talley, Lee County Sanitary Officer, reportea upon the activities <br /> of his office for the month of March, 1957. <br /> D. F. Harris of the D. F. Harris and Son Insurance Agency, the agency <br /> holding the contract for insurance on the buildings owned by Lee County, <br /> appeared before the Board to request the Board to set valuations for each <br /> County building, which valuations were to become an official part of the <br /> insurance coverage. The Board thereupon set valuations on the various <br /> buildings owned by Lee County-as follows; <br /> BUILDING VALUATION <br /> Armory Bldg. & Contents $73, 000. 00 <br /> Court House Bldg. & Additions <br /> and Contents 40, 000. 00 <br /> Jail & Contents 40, 000..00 <br /> Court House Annex '& Contents 67, 000. 00 <br /> County Home Bldg. & Contents 40, 000. 00 <br /> Health Center, and contents 30, 000. 00 <br /> Library and contents 50, 000. 00 <br /> $721, 000. 00 <br />
